Brooks Memorial Hospital

this hospital is absolutely disgusting with how they treat their customers. my girlfriend has been suffering with chronic pain all throughout her life yet the hospital denied giving her any pills to offer her to make it better, in fact they gave her pills that made her pain worse, and they told her either there is nothing they can do about it, or that they see nothing wrong with her. she's been to this hospital countless times mind you, so this wasn't just one doctor doing this. absolutely disappointing in the staff and shame on them.

Brooks Memorial has been holding my almost $400 co pay. (It was a pre-pay upon arrival). I had my labs days prior to arriving, I found a ride, paid $40 & they let me sit there for hours until they cancelled my surgery because they don't have platelets. Really?! What hospital who does surgery, doesn't have platelets? Never again. No wonder I was nervous about going to this "facility". Kathy Dillinberg.

My mother fractured her hip and was sent to Brooks for treatment. She received the best care while there. Everyone was kind, caring, and treated her so well. She even liked the food there and that is unusual for her. I can't thank the staff there enough for a wonderful experience considering her injury. You folks are awesome!!!

zero stars As a Fredonia University student, this was my first and definitely last visit to Brooks Memorial Hospital. I went in on December 2024, to inquire about a skin condition I suspected was ringworm. The initial intake was standard (insurance, vitals), but that's where the positive aspects ended. The doctor I saw briefly agreed it looked like ringworm but stated they had no dermatologists on staff and couldn't prescribe oral medication (which I believed I needed for a severe case). Instead, I was advised to go to a pharmacy for over-the-counter treatment. Since they weren't offering any actual treatment, and the wait time to speak with anyone further was long, I left the hospital. It turns out, the initial assessment was completely wrong. If you want to die/ get the worse treatment possible this is where you want to come. Came here expecting help while waiting in pain beyond belief the staff was literally sitting around joking barely doing their job. The hospital looks like you’d get merca if you touched anything in it. The staff are rude and vulgar. The triage lady is not welcoming or caring what so ever. Your better off driving to buffalo or Erie to get decent care. Why is brooks still even open? They provide little to no care to the public. They give you bare minimum anything here. Save your life choose another hospital.
