I normally don’t leave reviews, but I feel I have to for this office. I’ve had multiple negative encounters with the front office that I’ve let slide, but after my most recent experience, I can’t ignore it anymore. The back office staff and the doctors are always very kind, polite, and friendly. Unfortunately, the front office is the complete opposite—rude, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful. It honestly feels like they put up every obstacle possible just to keep you from getting an appointment. One experience that really stood out happened last year. The doctor suggested a deep cleaning, which came with extra fees I didn’t fully understand. I came in for a dental cleaning, and my teeth have never felt better — they’re beautifully clean, and the hygienist did an excellent job removing all the tartar and plaque with great care. From the front desk to the dentist, every staff member was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely caring. They answered all my questions and made me feel completely comfortable. I highly recommend this dental office!

Just had my second visit at Bright Now Dental in El Cerrito. Wonderful staff and atmosphere. I’m very satisfied with my new dentist. She is so gentle and informative, and that goes a long way. My children are also very happy as well. Five stars all around.

While the doctors provided quality care during my visit, the front desk phone staff at this location were extremely unprofessional. I called in to dispute a charge for a so-called “broken appointment”—a term that already seems inappropriate, as the appointment in question had been properly canceled well in advance, following a deep cleaning weeks prior. Instead of hearing me out, the staff member spoke loudly, disrespectfully, and continuously talked over me. To make matters worse, she hung up on me mid-conversation. Since then, they haven’t been accepting calls and keep sending me to voicemail—I have no choice but to go to the office in person to resolve this given my busy schedule.
