Sam is a wonderful massage therapist, very knowledgable and helped relieved my overall tension. I, also, felt more range of motion in my shoulder which has always been a chronic problem. There’s always that little dilemma about writing a review for something you also secretly want to keep as your own hidden gem. Still, Saman deserves the recognition. I’ve been seeing him for a few years now, and what I appreciate most is how adaptable and attentive he is. My body tends to shuffle stress around—neck one week, lower back the next, tight hips or sore forearms after that—and Saman always listens and responds thoughtfully to what I need in the moment. His Deep Tissue work, in particular, always leaves me feeling both rejuvenated and reinvigorated every time I leave his table. He has a way of constantly tuning in with his hands while he works that feels intuitive and restorative. Saman (Sam) is a great body worker. I feel lucky and happy I can see him regularly. If you’re looking for a thorough massage by a knowledgeable masseuse who does Swedish and deep tissue massage as well as incorporate cranial-sacral therapy and cupping when needed, this is the place. I’m very sensitive and I have no issues with the room or products used. Enjoy a relaxing massage in a simple, clean room located within a chiropractic practice. There’s easy parking too (parking lot is behind the building). Tip: It’s extra good if you book Saman followed by a chiropractic adjustment with Dr. Chris Nizer when your body is relaxed—so convenient that they’re in the same building.

Highly recommend! I had a long-standing lower back issue, and Sam was able to completely fix it in just four sessions. They’ve also been voted the best massage place in El Cerrito twice!
