Dr was extremely rude, unprofessional, belittling and dismissive. Was my first appointment and his hello was “what can I help you with” when I explained what I was going through he yet again asked me what he was suppose to do about it. Then after mocked my symptoms by referring to them that I had self diagnosed through dr google. I felt the whole consult that I had to convince him about what I was feeling. He touched my stomach and I expressed I was in pain where he was touching and he completely disregarded me. He mansplained the whole conversation contradicting everything I told him. We ended the consult with an appointment for an endoscopy where if he didn’t find anything I would just “have to go to a bigger university to find answers” then goes to tell me “ in the 30 years I’ve worked

Dr. Vanessa Kuwajima recently performed a colonoscopy on me and she made what could have been a scary experience into the most pleasant and comfortable experience. All of the Employees at the offices of Brevard Digestive Health were exceptional taking the time to explain the preparation as well as Dr. Kuwajima taking the time and making sure I understood everything I had to do to prepare. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. KUWAJIMA AND THE EMPLOYEES AT BREVARD DIGESTIVE HEALTH. A MOST PLEASANT EXPERIENCE FOR ME AND I AM SURE YOUR EXPERIENCE WILL BE JUST AS PLEASANT. Amazed with Dr. Seara. His way to explain and educate the patients. He is great doctor!

Aguilo-Seara was fine but I had to have emergency surgery for a hemorrhage and wasn’t able to make it to one of my procedures and used their texting system to notify that I couldn’t arrive because I had a hemorrhage in my throat and couldn’t talk to call. They then tried to charge me for missing a visit even though I notified them well in advanced and when I talked to the girl in billing (or whoever it was) she had a huge attitude, lost her temper, and was very unprofessional. She barked at me “you couldn’t have someone else call?” No you dog, I was in the ER 😒

I've been a patient for 5 years now and only have good things to say about this doctor. The front desk staff in person are awesome. His medical team along with him are phenomenal. The only area of improvement is phone call answering by his staff during business hours. Its like every call goes to the answering machine and you will get a call at the end of the day. I will say that the team is responsive. They see so many patients so I understand getting the phone is the least of the priorities when providing one on one care in the office. Otherwise bedside manner and making treatment plans tailored to your gastroenterology issues is done on par. I'm hoping he doesn't retire soon. He is a doctor you want for a lifetime.
