I have a very complicated medical history and Dr. Coons has been an incredible asset as the newest member of my medical team. He’s kind, caring, very knowledgeable, and actually listens to the patient. He’s the reason I now have a chance to live without chronic infections and without losing any more of my limbs.

We took my 2 year old to see Dr Coons and we are so pleased with him and Calvert Internal. He is very friendly, gave thorough explanations and never made the visit feel rushed. His nurse is the absolute sweetest! She made us feel comfortable and cared for the whole visit. Highly recommend them.

Horrible experience, been there a couple times. Each time I thought it would get better and only got worse. He pushes meds and don’t listen to the real problem! Speaking for a family member. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Dr. Coons is a Godsend. I have never had a doctor make me feel so seen, heard, and believed. Not only did he believe me, he himself actually brought up symptoms that I’ve been experiencing that other doctors have dismissed as irrelevant, in my head, or anxiety-related. (Come to find out, the anxiety itself is related to my condition!) He started with a comprehensive questionnaire, asking me about many symptoms that I’ve been experiencing related to the condition he suspected I have (MCAS). He also thoroughly explained the condition and all variations of the condition, allowing me to record his explanation so that I would have the information on hand for later.
