My family absolutely LOVES Dr. Lauer. He's been my husband's eye doctor for over 15 years and mine for over 5. I have terrible anxiety with seeing eye doctors and Dr. Lauer is extremely patient and understanding. He doesn't mind repeating 1 or 2 multiple times, which helps with my anxiety during the exam! He's also very hands on in his practice and very knowledgeable in all aspects including insurance. I have yet to meet another eye doctor as down to earth and caring as Dr. Lauer.

In a world where most vision doctors are primarily focused on a sea of maximized profit, rather than patient care, Dr. Lauer and his staff shine like a lighthouse. You can expect a top quality exam, with state of the art equipment, from a doctor who not only knows what he’s doing, but genuinely cares about your vision and eye health. It can be tricky to get a quick appointment, but that’s because he has a lot of patients (a good thing). The staff have always done their best to accommodate both me and my family, and I have never left that office with any unanswered questions about my vision health. Note: A prescription’s accuracy, is only as good as your answers during the exam.

Dr. Lauer is a great optometrist who really seems to care about his patients and their vision and eye health. His office has become very busy, no doubt due to all the happy customers.
