The Breastfeeding Center of Ann Arbor is an amazing resource that I wish all first time moms knew about. I did an online breastfeeding education course and had an initial consultation with Jessica during my third trimester. She answered all my questions and helped me feel supported. I then had two consultations after my baby was born with Barb, who helped me feel even more supported as I navigated breastfeeding and pumping. I also have attended the free mom and baby groups to connect with other moms and to do weight checks for my baby. It has been very helpful, and is also just a great way to feel less alone in the motherhood journey. I highly recommend all their services! Motherhood and breastfeeding doesn’t have to be isolating, and no one gives us a handbook on how to do it once we get

This place is amazing! The staff are knowledgeable, very relational and full of compassion. The environment is cozy, comforting and relaxing. They helped me with a realistic plan, gave many different options so I could choose what worked for my family, and recognized my baby’s tongue tie when no one else did! I’d give them a million stars if I could! Please go here for breastfeeding/pumping/bottle feeding support! You won’t regret it!

I am so grateful for everyone here! Veronica and Jessica helped me go from exclusively pumping/my baby not latching at all until 4 months old, to being fully fed straight from breast by 6 months old. They helped me with pumping when I needed it, with starting solids, and even helped plan how I would feed her on a trip to Australia at 8 months old. They turned one of my most stressful tasks of new motherhood into something beautiful. My baby is now 12 months old and we are still going strong with breastfeeding thanks to them! I am also eternally thankful for the Friday morning support group. We went consistently for months and it was a great way to get help, ease anxiety, and meet other new parents. I tell every new parent to go here and I can't wait to go back when we have our next baby. T

This place was truly a such a blessing! I was referred to them by my doula after I had been through a handful of other lactation consultants through U of M with no success. I was in so much pain, was mentally in a tough spot, and just needed someone to listen. Jessica and Veronica did all of that and so much more! They really listened to me, saw me, accurately helped to identify what I was dealing with, and put together a plan to actually help me and, in turn, my baby. I am, without a doubt, a better mom because of them. Even if you're not struggling as badly as I was, give this place your time and your business. It's worth every single ounce of your time and money.

The Breastfeeding Center of Ann Arbor has been the single most valuable resource for me in my breastfeeding journey. Leaving the hospital after giving birth to my first baby, I felt completely overwhelmed, unsupported, and just with no clue how to make breastfeeding work. Jessica came to my aid on such short notice and did a home visit where she taught me and my husband all the basics and took the time with us that was so desperately lacking in the hospital. We then had several follow-up visits, and Jessica has helped us immensely through every stage and through numerous difficulties (including bad latch, slow weight gain, tongue tie, and more). Not only that, but the free, open breastfeeding sessions with other moms on Fridays made me feel like I wasn't alone - if only every community had
