My husband and I have been a patients at Boulder Valley Dental Center for over two decades, and have found Dr. Annissa and team to be the most attentive, detail oriented, compassionate health care circle we have ever encountered. As a highly sensitive person, it is easy for my anxiety levels to peak during dental care, but the entire team is thoughtful and so knowledgeable that I feel extremely relaxed during my visits. I can’t even find enough words to describe how wonderful the staff here are. Two of my kids are patients here, and they’re so great that I’m now a patient, and I’ll be moving my third child here as well. To be clear, there was nothing wrong with our previous provider, but Boulder Valley Dental is just that great. The office itself is very comfortable and calm. They even have a corner with drinks available. During treatment, they offer so many comforts—a blanket, massage chair, noise-canceling headphones (cleaned and re-covered for each patient), and a TV overhead where you can watch Netflix. I came to Louisville for a visit. I had an acute need for dental care (palliative root canal). My sister’s dentist, Dr. Annissa was extraordinary. She worked me in promptly and did a partial root canal to alleviate the pain. Kind, compassionate and educational. Great office staff. I have the craziest dental anxiety not to mention serious sensory issues on top of bad experiences at the dentist. I have never felt more cared for, seen, and empathized with than I was here. For anyone who has anxiety, things they're embarrassed of, is neurodiverse, etc this is 10000% the place for you. Not only was I made comfortable but they took extra time to explain to me what they were checking for, asked consent before touching me, and generally treated me with a level of kindness I've almost only ever seen with mental health professionals.
