We were so lucky to have Nancy as my daughter’s speech therapist for the past five years. She worked with my daughter not only on her speech, but also on other developmental challenges, always with so much patience, love, and care. My daughter has a very strong (and sometimes stubborn!) personality, but Nancy always knew how to connect with her and make her feel understood. She was always happy and excited to see her. Nancy is both an amazing SLP and person. She is patient and understanding and will work with you and your child to formulate the best process to improve his or her speech. She can provide you with such valuable insight into the mechanics of speech impediments along with other factors that might be causing these issues. She has so many tools that my son never found his appointments to be a repetitive chore. We were lucky she was recommended to us and can wholeheartedly recommend her for your family too.

When our daughter came to Nancy, it was hard for many people to understand her. She would mumble, blur her words together, and couldn't pronounce 'l's (she couldn't even make her tongue move the way you need to to make an 'l' sound), 's', 'sh', 'ch', or 'j's'. Now she is much clearer, her anunciation is good, and she can make all of those sounds. Our daughter also really enjoyed going to see Nancy because she made all the speech therapy fun, incorporating toys and play. Nancy is an excellent speech therapist and was a very nice person for our daughter (and us) to work with. I would recommend her!
