Boston Children's Lexington

This is about the lab. I was very disappointed with how my daughters blood work was handled there. She has extreme anxiety getting her blood drawn. When I called to make her apt, they asked if she needed special assistance. I said yes she has a fear of getting her blood drawn. So I assumed we’d have someone there to help. When we arrived their check in area was confusing and I was told to go to a small area to check her in. Where the phlebotomist was just sitting in a somewhat private room.. We were then told to follow her back, where it was just her and nobody else. Then my daughter as expected got beyond axious and refused to cooperate. Finally she got “help” so someone else came in who seemed annoyed to be helping. It took a good 15 minutes until we got her blood drawn. Please don’t hav

The administration team is very unprofessional when it comes to scheduling appointments and managing billing. While they’re usually polite, they often make mistakes that lead to unnecessary frustration — including canceling appointments suddenly for ridiculous reasons. I’ve reached out to Patient Relations and hope they can sort things out.

We love each BCH and frequent Lexington and Waltham as well as Boston. Each facility goes above and beyond every time. Thank you 😊

My daughter had I drift correction surgery on January 31st 2025 everyone at the hospital was amazing. They were understanding about my anxiety for the surgery they helped me and my daughter through each step of the way Dr Griffith was the surgeon who performed the eye surgery he did amazing my daughter's eye looks wonderful there's no bruising or swelling he did such an amazing job and was so gentle with my baby it was very difficult as a parent to trust someone to go into your child's eye. Dr Griffith and all the nurse and staff at the Boston children's hospital in Lexington were so amazing and I can't be more thankful for them. From the bottom of my heart thank you Sincerely willows family 🙏

Brought our 2yo here for a blood draw, terrible experience. Person drawing was clearly inexperienced and adjusted the needle literally 20-30 times. More experienced lady she kept looking to for advice just looked on. Experienced lady was also rude even before the blood draw started. Child was traumatized (she has done blood draws before and was fine) and arm is heavily bruised.
