Bon Secours Urgent Care, Glen Allen

I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The facilities are very clean and comfortable. The nurse practitioner was kind and compassionate. I am going through a recent cancer diagnosis and she shared a family experience and even called me after my appointment to give me recommendations for burn creams to help with my upcoming radiation treatments. I have never had such personal service in the 15 years I have been in Richmond. In the past, my husband and I have used Patient First for out urgent care needs, but going forward we will be using Bon Secours. I highly recommend this place and their staff.

I made appointments for both my husband and me as we have been fight coldlike illness for over 9 days. Easily made 2 appt same day! Great front desk check in ladies, awesome xray staff and Katie was fantastic. We both feel a bit better already. We will never wait too long to get help when we know we have this GREAT service just around the corner!

I had no problems scheduling the visit. On arriving there, the checkin was also very easy. The only issue I had was that the system was not accepting my HSA card though I tried 3 times and verified the entry information. The front desk and nurse were very courteous, helpful and professional. The Nurse Practitioner I consulted was one of the best medical professional I have met. She was so good and did not want to force any treatment that was not necessary. That is such a welcome change in this industry today. In one day, I have already felt so good with her prescriptions. I will only consider this place in future medical needs. I wish the staff in this clinic the best.

I went in because I was sure I had the flu. Had a fever, terrible cough, and congestion. I could feel the rattling in my chest. And I could hear it. My nose was barely swabbed for flu and Covid. I told the nurse who swabbed me that she didn’t get up in there enough. She barely touched the inside of my nose so of course the test came back negative. The nurse practitioner said she didn’t hear anything in my lungs and wouldn’t give me anything to help me feel better. She said just take some OTC meds. I left feeling defeated. I went home and suffered for one week. After that I felt so much worse and finally went to the ER and guess what?? I have the flu. And now I have bronchitis.
