BHS Urgent Care

I injured my ankle on Saturday. I made a call on Sunday morning and spoke with Selena, who was very reassuring and encouraged me to come in and get it looked at. From the time I walked in, it was a super warm and fuzzy experience. I met with Denise, the LPN, who was lovely and very reassuring. The doctor PA Michael was super warm and professional, and helped me quiet my mind after seeing me. Bonnie the x-ray technician that took my radiographs was super laid-back and personable. All in all I left with peace of mind, with a supportive air cast and knowing I did not have a fracture and that I just rolled my ankle and knew how to treat it. this has been the third time I have been to the BHS in lenox. All of the staff are exceptional. Walk in wait time was a tad lengthy, but all good.the care was worth the wait. The nurse and doctor were both excellent and very caring and sorry I was hurting. I cant say enough good about this place. I am so glad I dont have to run to Pittsfield and wait in the waiting room till all hours of the night at the hospital ER.

Very friendly receptionist, nurse and NP. I went on a Saturday and was seen in less than an hour. I’d pulled out a rather fat tick on Friday and the site was getting red and itchy. A mega dose of Doxycylin was prescribed, and taken right there. Hopefully in an abundance of caution but they took my visit seriously and I’ll follow up in two weeks if needed. Excellent community asset….thank you.

First 2 times I came here I was seen in a timely manner. Today I’ve been sitting here for 1 1/2 hours waiting. Even booked an appointment online yesterday to avoid a situation like this.

I was seen quickly - first spoke with a nurse who took a thorough history and was very reassuring. Then by a PA who was terrific. Super clean place with plenty of parking and CVS is in the same shopping center just steps away!
