Beverly Hospital

We have had a wonderful experience from the ER all the way up to the staff on the 5th floor. Every nurse i spoke to took the time to answer my questions. Dr. Paris as we call him is absolutely the best and so thorough. He also, took the time to make sure I understood what was going on and answered all of my questions. This hospital has been fantastic! Was treated in ER for overdose, was given activated charcoal incorrectly and told it was for a use that it was not. After that spent over a week in the adult psychiatric holding space even though I was a teenager because there weren’t enough beds. This was not a safe space at all for me or others. Was exposed to many upsetting and unforgettable things in that small space, whenever I left my room I had to be with a staff so the adults wouldn’t come at me particularly when in bathroom. Shouldn’t have been kept there, horrible experience, there are much better hospitals in the area

10/10 for Beverly hospital during a 4 day stay for a very uncomfortable injury during pregnancy. A month before due date I broke my leg and needed surgery. Thanks to the joint effort and close collaboration of the Labor & Delivery team and Orthopedic surgery team we got excellent care around the clock, and felt well taken care of and heard at all times. Extra bonus for the cafeteria food - I'm a very picky eater and the food was really surprisingly good for a hospital!

My wife had a big surgery and had complications during it. Most of the staff where not very compassionate the surgeon called me on the phone instead of coming to the waiting room to talk to me nurses failed to get the blood work done correctly and the IV was bleeding and the nighttime checks were bad as well very rude staff like we were bothering them. That was once a good hospital. If you can avoid this place please do but if you can't make sure you speak up and demand respect.

I suffered from a rare condition so I am used to being in the hospital however my eight-year-old son is not. He was so sad to see his mommy sick. Nothing we could do would cheer him up. Until he came back from the cafeteria with a big smile on his face & a story about a woman named Tony who made him a grilled cheese. My husband said she was great! For all 10 days my son came to see me he was excited for me and Tony lol.. I never got to meet her however I want to thank her and the whole cafeteria staff for feeding my family good food when I couldn’t appreciate it 🙏🏻
