Better Smile of WNY

Better Smile of WNY lived up to the name. The woman I spoke to on the phone was incredibly friendly and got me in the very next day, huge win. The office is spotless and inviting, the receptionist was warm and helpful, and both the dental hygienist and dentist were awesome. Everyone was professional from start to finish, and the whole visit felt easy (who knew a dental appointment could feel that way?). I had a really positive experience and would absolutely recommend them.

Went In for simple cavity filling, weeks later bad pressure and pain on the molar he filled. The dentist then proceeded to tell me he over filled it, filed it down and it was even more sensitive. Long story short NEVER attend this clinic without reading these reviews. Unethical and considering legal action due to the tooth filling now separating and somehow breaking off. Go at your own risk

I had the worst experience there and cannot recommend it. I am supposed to get a tooth extracted and they had x-rays sent over to the office that was doing the extraction. I later found that the x-rays they had sent were wrong, because it was for my wisdom teeth, when I had already gotten them taken out. When I called them about this issue, they were extremely rude over the phone and did not seem to understand where my frustration was coming from, because they were going to have the other dentists cut up my gums to take out a tooth that was not there. They sent a letter over to tell me to find a new dentist because of the negligent care on their part and because I advocated for myself. Worse dentist I’ve ever been too.

Appalling experience at BetterSmile in East Amherst! I arrived promptly for my 9am appointment after a 45-minute drive, only to be told my insurance was inactive. After an 11-minute call with the insurance company, facilitated by the receptionist, I expected them to accommodate me. Instead, they claimed my appointment time had passed and refused to see me, despite my efforts to resolve the issue in their office. The staff's attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. Their apparent focus on profits over patient care is disturbing. When I expressed frustration and threatened to switch to another office, the response was a callous "OK, have a good day." Unacceptable. Avoid this place!

Dr. Riad - a great dentist. My insurance changed and before i could find a new dentist, I had two very compromising and separate dental incidents within a week apart. Dr. Riad, who does participate with my new insurance, took me on as a new patient and handled each of my emergencies promptly and successfully, despite my not ever being a patient. His work was thorough, successful, and painless. His compassion took the stress out of two very stressful events. Highly recommend.
