I came into Dr. Lau's office after getting shingles right after Christmas in the left side of my face. I had seen my eye dr, general physician and also a neurologist. They all helped me in one way or another, to make sure that my eye wasn't injured, prescribing pain and nerve meds along with anti viral meds. I was still experiencing terrible nerve pain and was unable to open my eye at all, so I opted to try acupuncture. I had seen Dr. Lau years ago and went back to him. The first day that he assessed me, he did my first treatment and also suggested some herbs to take. I have had 9 treatments and am able to open my eye, which is a blessing. Yesterday I completed a 12 visit plan for L4&5 issues in my lower back. Very bad siatica and I have been during the stretching & exercises my physical therapist had me do. I have had 4 or 5 epidurals before this first time use of acupuncture. Those shots were over a 2 year period and I has thinking of another before talking with Dr Lau. I have been a patient of Dr. Lau for a few months. I am seeing him for an embarrassing issue. I have suffered from hemorrhoids for over 20 years. I have had several procedures to correct the problem including rubber band ligation, sclerotherapy multiple times, Botox injections, and arterial ligation with anorectal repair. None of that worked. I first went to Dr Lau in Nov of 23 for back pain in 2 months pain was gone I tried physical therapy 1st but no relief. Then in July 24 I had lower back pain with pain running down on left leg 2 treatment and leg pain was gone 5 weeks of treatment in lower back and pain is gone yea.the pain in my lower back hurt every time I sat up from sitting or laying down.Totally believe in King's acupuncture and Dr Lau he is always smiling and professional. I first went to Dr. Lau for relief of my constant headaches from cervical problems. I have not had a headache of any severity since my first treatment. I continue to go as we are working on my energy, which has greatly improved. Dr. Lau is kind and knowledgeable and his staff is very personable.
