Bethesda Pediatrics

This is a business and not a doctors office for children. If you push back for any reasons they will not accept you as a patient. I asked my child's doctor very important questions about certain procedures. She could not answer any questions clearly, accurately and explain the reasons why we needed those procedures either than it being a requirement of their office. They only care about how much money is coming and not about the welfare of the child they are seeing. I guess the Hippocratic Oath is just a saying, their bottom line is what is important. Third world doctors have my sympathy and empathy then Bethesda Pediatrics.

Rudest most inflexible doctors office ever. Doctors are abrupt and dismissive. And no matter what happens they will charge you for rescheduling - had a late red eye flight was charged $50 despite never rescheduling before. Run. They’re terrible.

I have been with Bethesda Pediatrics for 15 years. Staff are great and it makes everything easier when you see familiar faces. Especially I forgot her name, she sits at the first window, she is vey professional. We have never had any billing or scheduling issues. It feels they are there for my kids 24-7. Doctors are very approachable. You can actually talk to Doctors not only nurses. Nurses are great caring! I like all the doctors but Dr Deutsch had taken care of my now 24y daughter and 15 years old son. She was amazing. She always welcomed us with smiley face. She always knew what’s going on and knew how to treat. Never failed with her diagnosis. We had though times but with her excellent expertise we were able to go through well. I trusted her 💯. I have been taking my child to this practice for many years. Dr. Mayol was our pediatrician and has retired. I tried all the other pediatricians and they all seem robotic. No warmth no empathy. The receptionist that had been there for a long time was always rude and never smiled. I haven’t seen her lately she may have left. Unfortunately, will be looking for other places to take my child.

We have been using Bethesda Pediatrics since our first child was born and have had a great experience! We can always get same day sick appointments when we need them and the office reminds us to make all our other appointments so we stay on top of it. We usually see Dr. Gato and he gives thoughtful and practical answers to our questions. We would recommend this office to anyone looking for a pediatrician!
