I have to disagree with some recent reviews - my family and I have been going to this practice for 30 years, and we always feel welcomed, valued, and heard. Front desk staff are helpful whether in person or on the phone, the medical staff take the time to listen and investigate any potential issues, and we always feel better (mentally, physically, or emotionally) upon leaving. The facility is clean and well kept with modern features and equipment. I do agree that the after hours service can be a little spotty just in terms of response time, but that's pretty standard from experiences we've had with other practices. I'd like to start out by saying Dr Vu is EXCELLENT! I think she takes great care of her patients. This bad review is strictly for the billing dept. They billed me for a sick visit on top of my yearly physical to double dip when I did not have a sick visit. They are assessing a copay on me stating that my yearly Physical I received care above and beyond which is false. I have tried to get this resolved for 3 1/2 months now to no avail. I feel strongly that this is fraud and I won't sit idle and give in on it. Next steps will be going to our State Rep and the Attorney General to expose this fraud.

The front desk staff at this office gives the impression that you are more of an annoyance than a valued patient. The turnover at the front desk is high, making it difficult to establish rapport or trust. The after-hours support is outsourced, and it often takes multiple calls—sometimes 3-4—before receiving a return call, if any at all. Even when you do get a response, it’s rarely from a doctor within the practice. Getting an appointment for anything beyond a routine visit is extremely challenging. The practice seems only interested in seeing patients for regular check-ups and is unhelpful when you have urgent issues or need a last-minute visit. I am a new patient and I booked an appointment with Dr.Vu online to meet today Jan 21 in early January (pic1). I did not get any email or call/voice mail telling me that this appointment has any issue or was canceled, until I came this morning in person traveling from Needham. The cancellation reason is that Dr.Vu has not accepted new patients for a long long time. The Beth Israel website clearly shows Dr.Vu now accepts all new patients as picture 2, which is a screenshot I took on their official website just now. I think it’s very unprofessional to not showing the most accurate and updated information on official website, and worse, lack of communication to let the patient know. I recently switched to BID Family Medical in Medfield for convenience because the practice is literally down the street from my house. I love this practice. I love Dr. Fleischmann. I feel cared for when I'm not well or have a question(s). The nurse calls back and goes through all the questions to make sure it's not an urgent matter. The nurse calls me right away to follow-up after a surgery. When my husband had a surgery at Mount Aurburn, he didn't receive any follow-up calls. It really shows that this practice and the entire staff genuinely care about their patients. Thank you so much for your caring and the superior services you provide.
