Ben is a great guy and an incredible bike fitter and I would definitely recommend checking him out if you’re interested in getting a bike fitting. Ben has helped me dial in my riding position on multiple bikes and I could not be happier. His expertise and knowledge about bicycle fitting and body mechanics is top notch and have helped me overcome several nagging issues on the bike. I was blown away by how big of an impact having a proper bike fit from Ben has improved my overall cycling experience.

I met Ben at a cycling event in 2024, and he told me about his bike fitting service. I contacted him this year because my wife and I were going to be riding in a one week tour across Iowa, and wanted to make sure we both could ride comfortably and efficiently. Ben helped us both immensely with a thorough examination of our individual proportions and cycling styles, and made the necessary adjustments to our bikes. The difference was apparent immediately, and we both enjoyed our big ride, and even the training that led up to it. Last year I saw Dr. Besch for a bike fit due to significant pain in my left hip following bike rides. He took the time to correctly diagnose my symptoms and provided me with a thorough and custom bike fit that alleviated all of my pain. This year, after getting a new bike, he came right to my house to fit the bike to me. He was patient and knowledgeable, I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I recently hired Dr. Besch for a basic fitting on my Specialized Allez Sprint Comp road bike and was extraordinarily happy with the service I received. Dr. Besch made it very convenient, bringing all of his equipment to my house and setting up right in my garage. It took about 3 hours and was totally worth it. One thing I appreciated was that as Dr. Besch made adjustments to my bike, he explained what he was adjusting and the impact it would have on my different muscles and ligaments. As a result of my bike fitting, my recurring shoulder pain during rides has completely gone away, my legs are no longer so fatigued the morning after a ride, and my average speed on my daily ride has increased about ~1.3mph. Absolutely recommend Besch!

I've had Ben fit me for all 3 of my bikes now, and couldn't recommend his services enough! He is super knowledgable about cycling and has experience in a variety of disciplines. He walks you through all the changes he is making and explains how it affects your riding experience. I will be using him again with any new bikes or equipment changes in the future!
