BayCare Urgent Care (Haines City)

As of this review I have to say one thing and that is that this place is the worst. With full confidence since my kid had been in a really painful state and because of that we came here to this urgent care but the first red flag was the attitude and the fact that there was ONE, yes ONE doctor for everyone in the center and so we just ignored it and we did the average and we started waiting expecting just about 30 minutes. We waited more than two hours in a small little room and of course we went and asked a couple times if anyone was coming and they kept on telling us to wait and wait and then once we went to the receptionist room to ask if they had no care for the safety of people they just got defensive and told us to wait more and just about when we were about to leave we finally got tr

I came into this urgent care the front desk people were sitting there having a full-blown conversation for more than 20 minutes while me and my daughter and my son sitting in the lobby after we checked in then I asked her are we supposed to wait here she said did you fill out the paperwork? I said no because you were sitting there chatting and I have a sick child here like are you at work or are you guys having a social gathering? I’m confused this is the worst I have ever Experienced. I would not mind you to come to this location. They clearly don’t like to do their job they want to chatter. And this was around 7:22 PM

Always pleasant experience. Especially appreciated when not feeling great! Scheduled my visit online. Taken in on-time, maybe a little earlier. Efficient & professional staff. Great physician. Highly recommend.

This has to be the longest I’ve waited for an appointment. 4 hours with only ONE physician for all the patients. They charged me in advance, so obviously I didn’t have an option to leave and try somewhere else. They kept saying “only 3 patients ahead of you”, but people kept coming in and leaving before I did. The waiting room is dirty, very little precaution or enough space between people. Just HORRIBLE.

Reserved a spot for my 4-year-old and waited over two hours. We were initially told only one patient was ahead of us, yet others who arrived after us were seen first. Staff (JEN) later explained it was due to provider availability, but this was not communicated clearly or proactively. The staff member (JEN) we spoke with was not polite or compassionate, which made an already stressful situation worse. Greater transparency and basic customer service training would greatly improve the experience—especially for families with young children. We been to this place before and hadn’t had the same experience. Now in reading reviews, I’m recognizing a similar theme more recently.
