Bauer Joy

Joy's substitutions for healthier choices are a blessing . I think I have tried everything but I will not have surgery. The food ideas are simple and easy to follow. The only problem I'm having is finding a whole grain bread with a total slice of no more than 50 calories each slice. No bagel ,no slice of bread comes close except English muffin. Perhaps someone could make a recommendation? Aso, if a recipe calls for sugar, is their something else I could use being a diabetic I don't use honey maple syrup or sugar. What's a good substitution? I would so appreciate a suggestion. I have exhausted all avenues on my end. thank you D.ortizio
