Been coming here for years. Started because it was close to my office, but I've kept coming back even though both my current office and home are not in this neighborhood. Dr. Maxwell is great -- always willing to answer a million questions, has a calming demeanor, remembers details even though I'm only in there once a year. Margie, who runs patient logistics, helped me get a rebate for a new kind of contact lenses, and has always been extremely helpful with providing receipts for insurance, copies of my Rx, as well as scheduling and all that. Highly recommend this practice!

I loved my old optometrist and thought I'd never switch, but out of convenience I decided to make an appointment. It's now been three years and honestly so happy with the change. Dr. Maxwell is my doctor and is so thorough and clearly explains everything (and is just cool). During the pandemic Dr. Naparstek responded to my email about extending my prescription without hesitation. By the way, I love that the doctors personally answer emails! Really dedicated doctors--highly recommend even if you're not in the Battery Park City area!

Dr. Naparstek and his staff — Margie, Shari and Max — are Lower Manhattan’s trusted resource. They are skilled, consummate professionals and warm, delightful, helpful people. Their array of glasses and their superb recommendations keep me chic! My gosh, three decades of happy service for my family from this team.

Love Dr. Naparsteck! He really cares about his patients and takes time with them; not rushing patients in and out for $$$. Their scheduling is easy too. I was recommended to him 5 yrs ago from a co-worker and I've been recommending him ever since. My husband is a long time patient now too. :) We travel all the way downtown to see him, even though we live directly across the street from an eye doctor.
