i have had the privilege of working with Omar and his staff since 2023. Omar has always been kind and courteous and was willing to make a special delivery for mom in Lockhart. Its a comfort to know that there is still a great customer service pharmacy that actually show they care about the customer and is willing to go the extra mile to see the patient is cared for. Thank you sir for everything!!!

Bastrop Medicine Shop is hands down the best pharmacy in Bastrop. They may be a small pharmacy but they show up big! They care so much for the community , work well with providers and always put the patients first. Special shoutout to Jackson and Omar! They and many more go above and beyond!

If pharmacies had Michelin stars, this place would have three. I’ve never actually set foot in this pharmacy, but I work with them as a provider — and let me tell you, they’ve become my go-to pharmacy for a reason. Think of them as the compounding version of a wizard with a license. Need something standard? Done. Need something totally off-menu, weird, “wait, can you even do that?” kind of compound? Also done — and done well. I’ve thrown some seriously bizarre formulations their way, fully expecting a polite “yeah, that’s not possible,” and instead I get a cheerful “Sure, how soon do you need it?” And Omar? Omar is the kind of pharmacist you hope still exists: knowledgeable, responsive, fast, thoughtful, and clearly someone who actually cares about patients. He doesn’t cut corners, and

I visited here for the first time today to fill a paper prescription. As a new customer, the onboarding process took 5 minutes and I was out the door with my prescription in 10. What takes the other guys so long??

What a rare, wonderful gem we have here in Bastrop. The Medicine Shoppe offers the nostalgic feel of hometown service, quality, and a pharmacy that knows you personally. My prescriptions are filled quickly, and everything I've needed has been in stock. They even deliver to my home. 🏡 The staff is so pleasant and helpful.
