I have a mild case of PTSD from going to the dentist as a child. When I was a toddler, my top 4 baby teeth rotted out from my mom putting honey on my pacifier (it was the 70s). My small town, rural dentist replaced the rotten baby teeth with fake silver ones until my adult teeth grew in, and the experience was traumatizing. During that procedure, I ended up biting the dentist (it hurt!) and he bit me back!! I always seemed to have cavities as a kid, and the sound of the drill can still send me into a panic. My parents wouldn't tell me until the day of my appointment that I was going because I would agonize for days leading up to the visit. As an adult, I still have trouble getting fully numb for fillings, and just the thought of going to the dentist triggers the fight/flight response. Dr.

Dr. Barry Edland is an exceptional dentist! He performed amazing cosmetic dentistry for me over 15 years ago, and it still looks fantastic today. His skill and attention to detail are unmatched. I highly recommend Dr. Edland and his practice for all your dental needs – you won’t be disappointed!

Dr Edland is that dentist we all dream about having. Welcoming, calming and his chairside manner should be taught at dentistry school. Speaking of school he also teaches the next generation of dentists! I have a son who has extreme dentist anxiety from a terrible trip to a "big box" pediatric dentist and he never got over it. Dr Edland made him feel comfortable right off the bat by asking questions and made sure to communicate before anything he did. He never made him feel guilty or embarrassed about 2 obvious cavities. Just this simple communication went a long way. My whole family will be switching over to Dr Edland's practice!

Dr. Edland is an excellent dentist, and Julie is the best hygienist! They’re both warm, thorough, and make every visit a positive one. Couldn’t recommend them more!

I just have to say this is an Amazing office!!! The first time you walk in and see Sandy at the front desk smiling to when you go back and everyone welcomes you and always smiling genuinely it just feels right! Julie the hygienist who cleaned my teeth was so great, she got cement off the back of my teeth from years ago from a bonded retainer that I’ve gone to many dental visits and no one has been able to get it completely off, also she was amazing to talk to!! Then I met Dr. Edlands his bedside manner is also amazing and he genuinely cares about all his patients and makes you feel very comfortable and at ease especially if your nervous going to the dentist! The kindness that everyone showed me at this office was beyond my expectations and I will definitely be referring friends and family
