What happened to me at this clinic is not a “bad experience.” It is a breakdown in professional standards, medical accountability, and basic operational competence. On Friday 11/7/25, I submitted DOT-required paperwork that simply needed my provider’s signature—nothing medically complex, nothing time-consuming. This was a routine administrative task any functioning clinic should be able to process. Instead, the situation deteriorated into a week-long mess of misinformation, zero follow-through, and complete disregard for the impact on a patient’s employment. Wednesday 11/12 – I followed up and was told, rudely, that my provider would “get to it when she can.” Thursday 11/13 – I was told the paperwork was “on her desk” and would be completed Friday morning. My daughter went for a medicine check, which the front desk clerk said would be a "no charge," and she was charged $243 by Madeline Lewis, the Behavioral Health nurse. We had to pay $130 of that $243. Madeline coded the appointment as a 30 minute appointment. She literally was in the room with my daughter for less than three minutes. I started with one doctor at this clinic, and actually switched to another doctor at the same clinic. I am certainly not happy with the way this clinic is ran. I don't know if that falls on the doctors,the office manager, or Baptist Health. I could talk about the people who check you in being rude or how they will ask people personal questions right at the window for everyone in the waiting room to hear. I could talk about the doctor not being personable.
