If I could give negative i would. My mom was there with dementia and we knew the end was coming and she was a full handful, why she was there and figured she would be better there. Boy was we wrong. Due to other family medical issues we couldn't get there to see her for about a week and when we returned she had a huge bedsore, and it was severely infected. Sadly a week later they called in hospice cause sepsis had set and she very slowly died there. My mother's roommate fell broke her hip and laid in the floor for hours before any checked on either. They are being sued by us and the other family. My only wish is that we shut this place down so no other family has to go through what we did. This place is horrible and if you have family there for God's sake get them out of there.

Be careful with this facility when it comes to their billing. Brooke, the billing clerk assured our family that my father was approved for additional days with his insurance and they wanted to keep him a few extra days for evaluation with no additional charge to our family. Then we got a bill for over $1,800 for the additional days they requested to keep him. Brooke avoided numerous calls from our family nor would she return our calls. When Brooke was finally confronted with why we were billed, she denied that she said the extra days were approved and was rude on top of that. I want to add that the nurses and staff are not to blame for the low rating. Brooke is the cause for the low rating. She was not truthful and misinformed my family, then avoided us all together. This isn't acceptable

The one star is for three or four people that work there. My mother was there for short term rehab. I have never encountered such unprofessionalism. Rude and absolutely no compassion. One of the nurse aides was argumentative with my mom and seemed like she hated her job. No compassion whatsoever. I reported her. I was there when she was so inconsiderate. My mom was in ICU, no one from facility called until over a week later to “check on her”, left me a message stating she was officially discharged from nursing home and what do they need to do with her things. Tried to call to talk to the person who called, all I ever got when trying to talk to her was voicemail. Left a message, never heard from them again. Very inconsiderate , no compassion and have absolutely no empathy.

My mom was at The Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in 2004. She had excellent care then and returned home only to return to The Terrace, in 2010 after I started working there just a few days earlier. I work in the Activity department bringing some cheer to our precious residents. My momma was there her last days, as she suffered from Alzheimer’s. I could not have asked for better care for her and it was such a Blessing to work there and be able to spend time with her. I must say, The Terrace has been so very good to me, during my time with them. When difficult times arose in my life, they stood beside me through it all. The loss of my mom & brother as well as my husband’s MVA 10 years ago which , completely changed my life. My coworkers were there for me. I have had the pleasure
