I had surgery at Baptist and the entire experience was exceptional. Everything ran on time, which immediately helped ease my anxiety. The staff was caring, polite, and very attentive from check-in to recovery. Every nurse, technician, and provider made me feel comfortable and well informed throughout the process. You can truly tell they care about their patients, not just the procedure. The level of professionalism and compassion I received was extraordinary. I’m very grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend Baptist to anyone needing surgical care.

I had a surgical procedure on my right hand. Dr. Cardoso and his team were excellent in making me feel secure and managed my surgery, from the doctor anesthesiologist to the nurses and the receptionist. It was on time and done in an orderly fashion. The nurses were outstanding.

Even though my medical result was somewhat disappointing to me, my experience with the personnel’s attention was excellent. From the check in to my discharge all staff were very professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant. My prep nurses were very efficient, the Dr’s assistant Uday was very knowledgeable and informative, Dr Lopez Sanabria took time to come to my prep room and explain the procedure and different possible results and everyone in the procedure room was very efficient. After my procedure Dr Lopez Sanabria met with my wife and I and explained the result in detail. In the recovery room they treated me very well especially nurse Jose Fernandez who kept me informed and entertained until my discharge. Highly recommend Baptist Hospital and all their personnel!

I am extremely disappointed with the billing transparency at this hospital. I was charged $800 upfront for an ultrasound and a mammogram, which I was told was my insurance deductible. After paying that amount, I was shocked to receive an additional $250 bill from a radiologist for reading the tests, a charge that was never disclosed to me beforehand. At no point was I informed that there would be a separate physician fee on top of the $800. Patients deserve full transparency about the total cost of care before services are performed. Being blindsided with extra bills after already paying a significant amount is frustrating and feels misleading.
