I discovered this massage therapy facility by chance, after my previous massage therapist retired. Currently there are two therapists, both with years of training and experience. 3 months ago, when I first called to enquire, Steve had an opening. I've been on his schedule for weekly appointments since. Steve is personable, and a consummate professional in his manner. He creates a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. He really listens, takes notes, and remembers a client's list of problems: aches and pains, knotted muscles, headaches, circulation, etc. Steve has an entire inventory of techniques, and keeps notes on what's working week-to-week. I'm seeing an improvement in my overall health. Who knew an off-the-beaten-path practice with no advertising had so much potential!

I been getting massages here for 15 years. I run alot and have nagging aches and pains. After my deep tissue massage always feel much better. Steve is very good.

I am a massage therapist in Peoria at a different location and often trade massage with my coworkers. However, when I want to go somewhere different, I know that the quality of therapy that I will receive at Balanced Health Concepts is top notch. Both Steve and Nick have worked on me and are excellent. Most recently, Nick did a 90 minute deep tissue massage on me and focused in on the areas I asked him to, using techniques that were very effective. His work was exactly what I was looking for. He is very professional and skilled, as is Steve.

I have mixed review about Balanced Health Concepts. I am currently 8 months pregnant. The massage here is definitely better than at Senara. I have had five massages with Steve (the owner). Three of them were exceptionally relaxing but the other two were just alright. The reason why the two massages were not that good is because Steve talked a lot during those massages. I don't mind a brief talk here and there. But in one of my massages, he talked about his personal life for about 30 minutes and I felt that his massage quality was not good when he was digging deep into his personal life matters. Same issue happened with my last massage with him. He began talking about personal life stories and during that time he was massaging my legs and hands and I noticed that he did not use all prior ma
