Dr. Smith and her staff were truly exceptional. This is my son. He is autistic (level 2) and also has ADHD. Over the years, I’ve taken him to other ophthalmologists, but Dr. Smith and her team are the only ones who were able to genuinely earn his trust, engage with him, and thoughtfully meet his individual needs. As a mother of a child with special needs, finding professionals who lead with knowledge, understanding, empathy, kindness, and true validation is incredibly rare, and absolutely priceless. Thank you for consistently going the extra mile to make my son feel safe, accepted, and respected. He is extremely intuitive and immediately senses when people are kind-hearted and sincere… and you all passed his “vibe check” with flying colors 😁🫶🏻

First time at this place and had a great experience. Jessica was incredibly kind and patient in helping me adjust my glasses. She took the time to fine-tune the fit and carefully adjusted the focal point so everything felt comfortable and clear. Really appreciated her help! 🥺

Dr. Smith is SO qualified - and the personal and professional support of the team at Avon Eye Care was SUCH a relief from the hospital/factory approach of so many eye care places these days. Highest marks - book it if you're looking for an eye professional who really cares for you...

I have been a patient here for about 5 years. I have always had a wonderful, comprehensive experience. Dr. McDermott has been incredibly professional, personable, and thorough. I’ve never been pressured to purchase any add-ons and when ordering glasses, they’ve let me take home a couple pairs to try on at home and get a second opinion from my husband. I’ve twice ordered glasses through them and both times was given a full breakdown of lens and frame costs. Highly recommend!

The staff at Avon Eye Care is very positive, patient, and caring. They understand and respect my personal circumstances and offer excellent advice along with great vision care. I sincerely appreciate the time that Dr. McDermott took to make sure my eyeglass and contact prescriptions were just right for me. I just loved when I picked up my new glasses in a fun gift bag!
