Dr. Gupta is a shady as hell and would rather bleed you for an unneeded $75 copay then help you. I went to see her due to some blood pressure issues and she was helpful, at least at first. She kept upping my doses every visit. Which is fine. I currently have new insurance and an appointment with a new GP in about a month. So all I need is a refill for one month's worth of medication. She refuses to fill it because I haven't been in for a year. Which would be understandable if I didn't call, outright tell her I was seeing a new GP in a month, and only needed a months supply. Long Story Short: Dr. Gupta cares more about money than patient well being. If you go here and find yourself with an appointment with Dr. Gupta run far far away.

I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Gupta. This was my second appointment with her, and it was far worse than the first. During my initial visit, she was rude and dismissive, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and assumed she may have been having a bad day. At this appointment, it became clear that this behavior is a pattern. Dr. Gupta was extremely rude and dismissive of my concerns, and I did not feel listened to or respected. I left the appointment feeling uncomfortable and frustrated. I would not recommend her to anyone looking for a provider who takes the time to listen and treat patients with basic professionalism. Extremely disappointed that people like this are in healthcare! Wish I could give 0 stars.

Ever since doctor Mayer and pielstein retired and sold practice, they do not care for patients care wellbeing health. They care for money. They treat everyone like a number. I can't wait to switch. 20 years been going there. Really miss doctor Mayer and pielstein.

My husband was there earlier today and had a good experience with the dr he saw but the only thing we noticed that the kiosks that EVERY patient uses to check in , has fingerprints all over them, yet you post signs about patients not leaning on or touching the counter to prevent the spread of germs. Maybe the office should look into getting disposable styluses (like they have at polling places) for the kiosks.

Saturday I went to Avenel Medical & was seen & treated by Joanne Colbert...I am already feeling a difference due to her good care
