Avance Care Chapel Hill

I see Anna Misior and have for a couple years now. She has always been a really great provider. She’s empathetic and seems to really hear my concerns. She also is extremely knowledgeable about everything I have brought up, I always leave learning something. For the first time in my adult life I am happy with my PCP. I also appreciate that this office is weight neutral and clearly LGBTQ+ affirming. I have not had a bad experience here yet!

Austin is an amazing provider! Timely, very knowledgeable and spends time educating his patients. I have been going to Avance Care for years and will never go anywhere else for my care. Highly recommend!

One of the best experiences I’ve had in a doctor’s office. I tend to get nervous at the doctor but this place feels different. The vibe is really wonderful and welcoming. My wife and I felt safe and comfortable there. They had pride flags and pronoun pins and very friendly and accommodating staff. Austin as a health care provider was exceptional. He was warm and listened with sincere interest and concern. He took his time to hear me out and explain options thoroughly. He was also very sharp and knowledgeable. He’s a smart guy with great bedside manner and an all around great provider. 10/10 recommend. I honestly can’t believe a place like this exists.

I recently had an intake appointment to establish care at Avance and had a fantastic experience! Scheduling my appointment was easy, the front desk staff and providers were so friendly, and the office was easy to access! I’m very happy with the care I received from my PCP, Austin Gamache, and would recommend Avance to anyone!

I have never left a negative review, but after nearly a year at this office, I feel compelled to share my experience. Previously, I scheduled a historically painful procedure and repeatedly expressed my concerns about pain. Despite my follow-up messages, they refused to offer me anything other than anti-anxiety meds. I ultimately went elsewhere, where I received pain management—and the procedure was still extremely painful. I cannot imagine what this would have been like at this office. Today, I called about my blood work / annual appointment: - The front desk person interrupted me almost every time I spoke. - She said I made the appointment incorrectly, even though I scheduled it on the phone with them.
