Autumn Lake Healthcare at Glen Hill

My name is Leigh. I am a resident of the facility and I love it here. Therapy has gotten me walking again and the CNAs and nurses are always helpful. Fernanda and Elsa are the best CNAs, Heather is a great nurse, Jenna from social work is so helpful, and Erin, Mark, Sonia, and Jeannie from therapy are the best around!

The facility is understaffed. Because of that my mother received inconsistent and intermittent care. On weekends regular staff is rarely there, and the only assistance are hired from random agencies and not necessarily familiar with how to find supplies or how to take care of patients. When she pushed a call button to ask for assistance, it sometimes took more than an hour for someone to come and help my mother. Occasionally, they would tell her they were too busy to do what she needed them to do and she would have to wait longer. The food is mediocre at best. The only positive thing I have to say is that the physical therapist were extremely helpful.

My husband was a patient at the facility for a couple of months for physical therapy after a fall from a ladder breaking his knee that required surgery. I can say all the therapists he had were professional, friendly and patient as well as the rest of the staff that took care of him. I myself met some nice people that were always available to answer any questions for any concerns I had. Thank you all that took good care of him.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Glen Hill. My grandmother entered Glen Hill back in February of 2023, and we were very fortunate that there was a bed available because she was admitted straight from the hospital. Prior to our hospital visit, I toured several local long-term care facilities that accepted her insurance and however some couldn’t transition her to Medicaid. The facilities that would transition her over to Medicaid from her insurance did not meet our standards. Glen Hill was a surprising breath of fresh air, from their caring staff to the quality of support throughout the rehab facility. Horrible service. My grandmother had to wait to be changed till after 10am Saturday morning. She asked at 8am and they kept telling her she had to wait. I am totally disgusted with this place. The food is horrible as well. They charge a fortune to go there and treat the patients poorly.
