Autumn Lake Healthcare at Cromwell

I had a family member go here for rehab after a hospitalization and quite honestly I had low expectations. I will say that the staff was fabulous and exceeded my expectations in every way. They were attentive and very respectful to my family member and her visitors. The only thing that I can say, I was not pleased with was the food, which is in no way is reflective of the staff, but tefkects on the company itself. My family and I would bring take out or homemade meals to our family member as often as possible. I would have my loved one stay here again for rehab if the need arose. Kudos to the staff on the short stay floor!

This place doesn't deserve a star. Food is consistently cold. Never get what you order. You ask for ice water. You'd think but nope. It's a wait if getting it at all. 80% of staff give zero cares. The rest are actually good. This place gets a grade F.

Having to transition a loved one to long term skilled nursing care is never an easy decision or process. Ann Jourdan, the administrator, has been a godsend on this journey. The social work and PT staff has been supportive and have gone above and beyond for my mother. We know she is in the right place.

The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and well kept. My father-in-law has been well cared for and his PT & OT, although stalled for the time being, has been effective.

I can highly recommend Autumn Lake at Cromwell. Pauline, The APRN; Robin, the nurse supervisor; and Selena the social worker were extremely helpful in transitioning an elderly client from rehab to long-term care. In addition to being highly competent and professional, they were all extremely kind. I have no hesitation giving Autumn Lake at Cromwell five stars and plan to refer many other clients there.
