Atrium Matawan - Assisted Senior Living Facility

I understand completely that the months between March and July have been a pandemic situation. But the way that the atrium handled the care of my grandfather, as well as after care of his belongings once he PASSED from Covid he contracted in the facility was absolutely appalling and completely unsympathetic. My grandfather passed at the height of this pandemic, so understandably we were unable to visit. However no one was allowed in or out due to the restrictions. So at no point were we able to pick up his belongings. The facility run condescending and dishonest Brian Long claims they told my family for months to remove his personal belongings. This was untrue, and also not possible during the height of a pandemic. Furthermore, when we were finally allowed to pick up items, they gave us

i don't know were to start.. first the social services dept. is terrible. they have little or no interest in getting things done..they started working on my mom's release paper and do to their mistake gave out the wrong info so she is now home and still waiting to hear something.. the nurses who give the meds are like the Stepford wives they come in no smile no hello hand you the meds and leave.. my mom didn't hear or see a doctor for over five days.. don't expect to be bathed often according to them they only have o give you a shower once a week my mom got two and refused one [9:00 pm was to late] in fourteen days ugh !!! the social events are the same almost every day and it does become quite boring there. the rehab people are friendly and do a good job with the patients.. the floor esp
