Matawan Pharmacy is a great local find—especially under the new ownership! They offer awesome discounts on generics, brand names, and even pet meds (many antibiotics are free or super cheap), which has saved me a ton. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and takes time to explain things without rushing. Quick fills, reliable service, and they handle insurance smoothly. Only reason not 5 stars is it can get a little busy during peak hours with short waits, but the value and personal care make it worth it. 4 stars—definitely recommend over the chains!

The pharmacist & staff "cashier"were very proffesional, Answered all the questions I had and was very nice..These mom & pop are the best pharmacys..Way better then the chain pharmacys..Do your self a BIG favor and change ur crappy chain pharmacy too a real professional and real decent one Matawan Pharmacy..You will definitely see just like did once i made the move..It will be the best thing you did this year..

Simply the best !! Switched from the big chains for Personal friendly service the “big” pharmacies simply forgot how to treat people. Everyone here is a professional kind and concerned person. Don’t settle for “big” places that don’t deserve your business !! Come here this place earns it . Support small local businesses you will love it! I am never going back !

Great staff, great service. Never had a bad experience here. Always willing to help with my rx needs. They've made the facility very cozy too when waiting for your scripts. Why go anywhere else....
