I’ve been going to this office for over a decade. They saw me through all 3 of my pregnancies (and Dr Akhigbe, who’s no longer at the practice, delivered the last 2 no problem! Wonderful experience! I was upset to find out she left). However, the last 2 years have really turned me off to the practice. Last year I saw Suzanne, who has ALWAYS been wonderful, no complaints with her. However, I arrived 17 minutes early for my appointment, but wasn’t seen until 45 minutes after my appointment time - no explanation. No “we’re sorry”. I was just expected to sit there and wait as if my time wasn’t important, and there weren’t other things that I needed to be doing, like taking care of my three kids for example. Honestly, I am surprised to see so many negative comments. I truly am left speechless. I have been going to this office for 13 years, and honestly, my experience with them has always been very good. In fact, right now that I am pregnant and just found out they do not accept my insurance, I feel devastated. The service they have given me has been so excellent that I am willing to pay for my visits out of pocket. My pregnancies have not been easy, and they have known how to handle my case with great professionalism, respect, discretion, and above all, they have maintained excellent communication while working to find a solution to my problem. My gynecologist of 20+ years recently told me he was retiring. I then had a hard time finding a practice and gynecologist who was accepting new patients. Based on recommendations from friends I ended up finding Dr. Simons. Luckily he was taking new patients and I’m so glad I was able to see him! He is absolutely wonderful, he listens to all of my concerns and always makes me feel heard, I immediately felt comfortable with him. I truly appreciate his bedside manner and how personable he is. During my 1st visit with him he spent 40 minutes with me taking the time to address all my concerns. I have had to use the portal to message with him and he always responds in a timely manner. I was trying to transfer care from PA to this clinic and OB group for my second pregnancy. A nurse reached out to me yesterday and said (in such a rude way) that they will not be accommodating new patients because their providers are going on vacation for the holidays. So they turned us away. When I asked if there were other providers that we can see or take over my care. The nurse simply made up other excuses on why they cannot accommodate us and that she thinks its best I should stay with my current provider at this time. I don't recommend this clinic to any expecting mothers as they lack basic respect and empathy.

how the front desk staff treat pregnant women is disturbing.. and certain nurses too. i was pregnant and in their care in the first trimester. THEY forgot to charge me like 4 copays and randomly one day made me pay 100$ or i couldn’t be seen. i said okay because i was on lunch at work so i said can i pay 50$ cash and 50$ card, she said “why not just pay the whole thing on card 😜😜😜” are we being serious here. no compassion and so rude dr simmons and dr zeh are great
