Atlantic Health Urgent Care

I have been going to Urgi Meds since The Pandemic. They have proved to be a lifesaver. Just attempting to sum up my medical history at Urgi Meds brings home just how invaluable they have been. Unbeknownst to me, and as a result of my most recent visit to the Atlantic Health System Urgi Med, Rt 10, Roxbury. I was diagnosed with a chronic condition. It was recommended I see a specialist. Wow, in retrospect, it was obvious, but I didn’t see it that way. I tried to follow up with allergist the following day, (today, 3/2/26). They aren’t as efficient as AHS. The location in Roxbury is a beautiful office Spacious waiting area. Loads of chairs. Well spaced from each other. The staff is friendly snd welcoming. The intake is quick. They level about the wait. It happened to be a very busy Sunday,

Atlantic Health Urgent Care in Ledgewood is the best. First, the intake experience was painless. Gave them a copy of my ID and insurance card. I filled out two quick forms - less than 2 minutes. Second, I waited about 1 minute and the nurse took me in for a few questions. Took about 3 minutes. Third, they took me into another room and I waited about 2 or 3 minutes for another medical professional to come in. I’m not exactly sure what her title was. She asked me a few questions, and prescribed some medication. All in all, I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and professional. Parking was easy to access, both coming in and going out. Great experience all around. Highly recommended if you need urgent care in the area.

I have been going to this urgent care for years. They do a great job. Making the reservation online, checking in to not waiting long is all so smooth and easy. I tend to avoid peek times like after work. The doctors seem to be consistent.

Scheduling an appointment and completing paperwork on line was extremely easy. I was met by Ruth who was the receptionist on duty. It was a Thursday at 7pm and she was delightful. Greeted with a smile, kind demeanor and effecient check in. There were few in the waiting room so we sat and chatted while I waited.for my appt. Nurse was kind and gentle. Saw a Physicians Assistant who was thorough with a great bedside manner. I had a terrific experience, even though I wasnt feeling well,.I felt better after going to this facility.

3 hours with a crying 2yo with an ear infection, when there were only 6 people ahead of us. 2 hours in lobby and 1 hour in the exam room.. My son ended up vomiting in the room, because of the pain and the rooms being 85 degrees, the doctor finally showed after I stormed out of the room. Took under two minutes to look in his ear and call in prescription. Front desk was great, the rest were awful. Never have I seen a nurse hesitant to approach a child in need cause of vomit. Acted like the kid had the plague, wouldn’t come within 10 feet of him… place blew my mind. 0 stars for this place.. 5 stars for front desk staff
