Athens Radiology Associates

Was seen at a local hospital in January of 2025 that contracted work with Radiology of North Georgia. In July, I had a total bill of $1,738. Every month since then they have found more scans that have added to my account and I just received a total bill of $3,728. The rep stated there were 8 scans I was charged for and this bill only includes 7. Are you adding more next month? While the rep was very nice I spoke to, I will refuse any services by this provider in the future and seek care elsewhere.

5 stars for medical services and 1 star for billing! I had an MRI done at the hospital at which time I presented my insurance information to them. Normally the physician billing service would obtain the demographics and insurance information from the hospital and proceed to submit the physician charge portion of the claim to the appropriate insurance company.. however someone dropped the ball big time and the physician services were never submitted to my insurance resulting in a huge bill that I was not even aware of until the time limit to file with insurance had passed . So I paid the entire bill to keep it from being sent to collections and now I have to file the claim with my insurance myself and hope they pay it so I can get reimbursed at least some of the $480 that I paid. Just here to echo the atrocious experiences with their 3rd party billing company - which is a complete scam. They claim you can email them, but multiple emails resulted in no replies. In 2024, I even sent certified letters to the 3rd party billing because of lack of communication from them. Athens Radiology Associates, please rid yourself of this 3rd party billing company as they are ruining an otherwise remarkable healthcare experience with your doctors & staff.

Do not trust calls from this “business.” They threatened me on the phone out of the blue at 7am with collections on a 90$ bill that I had paid with receipts over 6 months ago. Do not give out your card info over the phone like they will try to get you to do. This is fraudulent

We have had the same issue that everyone else is reporting! We were told that we owed a bill and it was going to collections. We never received a bill for that service or I would have paid it! I have promptly paid all other bills I have received from Radiology Associates of N GA. My husband requested they send us a bill. We received that and I tried to go online to the website they said to use to pay it online and it doesn't work to pay patient bills. It's just an informational site for the business that offers bill paying services to doctors. Almost seems like a scam!
