Aspen Dental - Smyrna, TN

I started my dental work here about 6 months ago. The staff is great to work with. Even though it feels like torture, they are actually very gentle. They are very accommodating with scheduling. My dental hygienist is one of the best! I call her the torture master, only cause she deals with some of the most sensitive areas. In all honesty, she is very sweet! I definitely rate this location 10/10! See ya in February Torture Master!

I was having some intense tooth pain and needed quick care. I not only got that but I got attentive, passionate, and gentle care. I have an extreme phobia when it comes to dental care. I was also in a financial bind. The staff at Aspen put ALL of my anxieties at ease. They worked with me to provide me with the services I needed at an affordable price. Even set me up a payment plan. Multiple times a staff member asked me how my visit had gone so far. They all seemed to genuinely care. Finally, Dr. Shelton performed my extractions with an excellent chairside manner. He made sure I was at ease as well as his assistant. This was one of two dental visits that were painless and stress free in my entire time of going to the dentist. Every person I interacted with was fairly condescending, it’s almost like being a young person with a lot of questions about your teeth health will get you talked down to by these people. I can’t remember what was explicitly said but I just did not like the energy these people had, it really didn’t seem like I was taken seriously and it was very disrespectful. Plus they try to charge you as much as possible to make as much money off of you, they’re willing to take things off to make it more affordable but they know they shouldn’t be trying to charge you more in the first place. The majority of people you treat are just trying to make it by. You should make their bills as low as possible from the jump while still providing high quality care. The key to great dentistry is a good hygienists and mine was GREAT. The Dr. was very good also. She was thorough, efficient and sensitive to my needs and concerns. I am so glad that I went and I recommend them highly. I cannot send photos because I am 83 years old and I hate this cellphone, lol

Don't come here unless you got money to spend , very high cost for nothing , plus for health care professionals they really lacked empathy for those needing help while in pain. Ran me up a bill after waiting for hours to be seen that was through the roof 7000 plus dollars. I really got the feeling that they were more desperate to take my money than to help me although I had insurance. The office is so clean makes you want to stay but looks can be deceiving until you get back there for service and they make you do unnecessary things that they will charge you money for absolutely no professionalism.
