I honestly couldn’t be happier with my experience with Dr. Chen and the whole Aspen Dental Port Jeff team. I did the Motto clear aligners with Dr. Chen, and post-treatment my teeth have never looked better — and that’s saying a lot because I previously had braces done at another office by a different doctor. The results this time are so much cleaner, more balanced, and just overall better than I ever expected. Dr. Chen is amazing. Every time I come in (even when I’m being a little dramatic about tiny things with my teeth ), she’s patient, detailed, and quick to address every concern. She really listens and explains everything clearly, which makes me feel genuinely cared for instead of rushed. Aspen dental is truly the place to go. They are completely judgment free, understanding, and friendly. All of the staff here are excellent. My husband and I both have terrible dental anxiety and coming here has relieved both of our hesitation about dental work. From start to finish, the appointment process is exceptional. While in the office, the back end staff as well as the doctor and hygienist, throughly explain your treatment in a way that is easy to understand. The most stressful part is talking about money, however the process is made very smooth with the help of the ladies up front. She helped guid us into a plan that was feasible financially and emotionally. Give this place a shot, you won’t regret it!

the staff is very pleasant and helpful. however waiting forty minutes in the examination room wasnt. After filling in my information I was brought in to get an xray and then brought to the exam room, where I sat for forty minutes waiting for the dentist to come in. when I inquired as to when I would see someone I was told she was with another patient. After I finally saw the dentist and was finished there I was told that the surgeon that works with Aspen dentist doesnt take insurance! The cost of the work I needed to have done was almost $12000! How do you have an office that doesnt take your insurance for them most expensive part of the procedure? I had to find my own dental surgeon in my network.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Hygienist Cassandra is always so patient, professional, thorough, kind & sincere! The whole team is truly the epitome of what a dental office should reflect! Clean, timely, communicative, calm & easy to talk to about any questions I may have. They accept my insurance (Delta Dental) & I’m so glad Aspen Dental opened an office right in my neighborhood!!

I had a scaling, filling, and a cleaning done with them, over the course of 3 visits. I assume the work was competent and thorough enough, but the dentist, and to a greater extent the hygenist, Cassandra, had an alarmingly bad bed side manner. She came off as rude, impatient, condescending, and weirdly defensive throughout. There also seemed to be a general culture of aggressively trying to upsell patients on hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of various additional treatments and add-ons not covered by insurance. I can't speak to the overall benefit of that additional stuff (maybe they really are as important as they say), but given my experience, I'm unwilling to simply take Cassandra's word for it and will be seeking a second opinion and care elsewhere.
