Ascension Seton Cedar Park - Emergency

This ER experience was the worse, I dislocated both of my knee caps and ended up taking an ambulance ride to the hospital. I relocated both of my knee caps waiting for the ambulance. Once I got there, they wheeled me to waiting room and I waited over an hour for a nurse to ask me why I’m there. Then I waited another hour to get X-rays of my knees. While I’m waiting, the registration lady asked for private information from other patients in the waiting room! Including social security numbers and addresses out loud. After I took the X-rays the doctor visited me in the waiting room and mentioned they don’t do anything for dislocated knee caps. Which I find that hard to believe since my previous ER visit at another hospital gave me at least crutches and a brace. The doctor told me that she’ll

To the hospital administrator or front office manager at this location, do you need help? This is a hot mess. Absolutely insane- when patients come in the front door they go up to a cash window and are treated like trash, and told to have a seat. 20 patients just standing there confused. In the waiting room there’s a sign: “Patients will be seen by severity … not by order in which they came” What the hell? How do you know who’s in more severe pain? Are we judging based on blood loss or crying or something else? Physicians assistant Sandy was nice but seems in over her head at this place bouncing from patient to patient… is night shift understaffed? Waited 2 hours in agony from severe ear infection and paid $250 for them to give me 1 ibuprofen pill and put the wrong size ear wick in my ea

Second time we’ve been here in the past year. Both experiences were subpar to say the least. Today we walked out after sitting in the triage area for 3 hours while we watched others come and go. We asked about the process for filing a complaint and were told that they would get the charge nurse, However no-one ever came. If you need “urgent care” you should seriously do your homework, read their reviews ahead of time and consider going elsewhere. Very disappointed with the level and urgency of care to say the least.

3rd world countries have better ER than this place! I mean cash window for check in and once checked in no placement area u have to continue sitting outside for hours to be seen! My sister was pregnant and in pain and I had to keep bugging them to see her even after being checked in. When finally seen no bed, no room. This is worse than a pitt.. they took her for scans but than put her in a makeshift place for IV while on a chair. They didn’t even have a bed for pregnant women .. sucks

Only reason I am posting here is the other one is turned off reviews. For the lady answering the nurses calls in the 2nd floor her name was Rene try being nice to the patients. She ignore the calls and then hangs up on them .
