Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital - Ozaukee

My daughter had a planned surgery there. All the staff were amazing. I was asked several times if I needed anything while I was waiting. The nurse Nicole C - was AMAZING!! Thank you so much to ALL the staff who were involved in taking great care for my daughter. I appreciate all the staff who were involved in her care! The surgeon was phenomenal and communication was also great. I knew every step of the way from the beginning to end on how everything was going while in surgery. I would definitely recommend!

No one likes to spend time in the hospital, but if you have to, this is the one to stay at! Everyone and I mean EVERYONE I came into contact with during my hospital stay was amazing. They made sure I was well taken care of and made sure all my needs were met. They were kind to me and treated me with respect. Thank you Nurse Rob and Rebekah for taking such great care of me. You truly made a difference.

Pros: Care was generally very good. I ordered two meals during my stay and they were very good. Cons: There were no hangars available to hang clothes. We were told there none. The lock box was locked. I was told no one had keys to open it. That is ridiculous. I wanted to lock up my wallet. My last nurse was good except when I was told I could be discharged and no one could get hold of her. I asked three times over two hours and was told she has been notified but I got no reason why no one could take care of me. When she appeared she said she was in a transfusion and couldn’t leave. I can understand that, but not having anyone to take care of her patients for two hours is absurd. I would like you to nominate an assistant for the high five award. Her name is Kristin E. My mother came to ER on November 13th last week. My mother fell on Wednesday. A family member brings her back on Monday November 17th. They gave her a CT scan and MRI on Monday. They indicated she had a stroke. This hospital dropped the ball. If a elderly person falls a hospital should run all the test due to the fall. Definitely not waiting to do CT scan and MRI testing 5 days later. Get it together hospital. Disappointed in my mother care for sure

I love the entire hematology team at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee! Dr. Nand is brilliant and has a wonderful bedside manner. The nurses treat you like royalty and I consider them to be angels. Highly recommend getting treatment here!
