The Kids Dentist of Mequon

My 2 year old LOVES coming here! Everyone treats the kids with such care and patience. They have a train on the ceiling that goes from room to room. They also let the kids pick out a toothbrush and toy and watch cartoons during their visit. This was our second time here and my little guy was so excited that he laid back and let the dentist brush, clean, floss, and paint fluoride on his teeth with no complaints! 10/10 recommend!

We are so happy to have found The Kids Dentist in Mequon! They are so kind at check in, the hygienists, and both amazing dentists! We typically see Dr. Lizzie who is patient and kind with our toddler, but have seen Dr. Casey for an emergency, the same day we called in! The atmosphere is great for little kids from their waiting room, the cool train, and the fish tanks in the hall. They are informative to the parents, educational but then let you make a decision without feeling pressured. I highly recommend them for your child’s dental needs!

After some truly traumatic experiences at larger dental offices like Dental Associates, we were desperate to find a place that truly understood and cared for kids. The Kids Dentist in Mequon exceeded every expectation! From the moment we walked in, I knew we had found the right place. The staff was warm, welcoming, and the entire environment was kid-focused—a huge breath of fresh air. Our dental hygienist was absolutely wonderful, using an adorable monkey to teach my boys how to brush and floss. For this first visit, I was able to sit behind a two-way mirror and watch as the boys were treated with the utmost care and patience. Atmosphere of facility is kid friendly and inviting. Staff was nice but the dentist obviously seemed irritated by my daughter’s reaction to the procedure throughout the entire process and made it overly clear that it was a privilege for me to stay with my daughter in the room during the procedure. The dental assistant was extremely helpful. Upon exit, I was adamantly charged out of pocket for 100% of the service by the front desk receptionist, all while I had full coverage through insurance that was already on file. Was reimbursed once we left and I called to consult with manager but incident could’ve been avoided. Felt very uncomfortable throughout our time here.

There is a reason why I travel to this Mequon dentist, when I live near Wauwatosa. They are always professional and easy to understand when it comes to treatment options. This dentist gives their absolute best in order to give patients the best outcome. Every single time I had an incident with my son's teeth they were remarkable. Communication is always clear and precise. They are so gentle with his cares, and they really care about what they do. The atmosphere is nice as well.
