Arroyo Grande Care Center

My mom has been in this facility for three weeks. I’ve never seen so much love from all the people who work there in my life. They really care about their patients and my mother is extremely blessed to be there while she rehabilitates. Thank you to all who are working there and giving so much love.

when one of my loved ones stayed they barely fed her and ignored a lot of the elders staying there. My grandmothers roommates child bribed a staff member with money to let her bring alcohol to her mom. They put perfectly mobile elders in wheelchairs because it was “easier”. They once fed my grandmother only rice while they were having a full on staff party with steak. Please don’t take your loved ones here!!!!

Thank you to Arroyo Grande Care Center for being so caring, compassionate, organized and upbeat! My mother spent about 3 weeks at this center and she loved the staff so much and was kept in a positive mood during her entire stay. Tiffany became very special to my Mom and you can tell Tiffany is an excellent manager as her wonderful and caring style permeates to the entire team. The staff at AG Care are wonderful! They answer the call bell quickly and provide care immediately. In the four days our loved one has been here the nursing staff have called me multiple times with updates. The rooms are clean. Garbage emptied almost every time someone comes in the room. The food, according to our patient, is much better than at the hospital. The building smells good. This is the best care facility I have ever visited. I am a registered nurse and super critical. Two thumbs up and five stars to the staff!

Keep your family members far away from this place...Extremely poor communication from all involved. Weekly update calls are random, not consistent, even after discussing with the Nurse Director. Family members visiting daily still cant get a call from PT or Nurses when requested. Food given to wrong patients - same room, but very different diets and requirements, so basically inedible. No one is paying attention to these patients. I would say maybe the staff are overworked, but you see them just sitting around in hallways chatting with other staff members. Medication lists and discharge instructions very poorly communicated, even with direct written questions, they say just read the instructions instead of answering.
