Very impressed by care and attention given to our fur baby! 🐩 Dr. Judit Szamos👩‍⚕️gave an extremely thorough exam, evaluation and answered all our questions and concerns. AG Vet Hospital deserves numerous recommendations from my family, so this recommendation will come in 3 parts. We highly recommend Arroyo Grande Vet Hospital for any of your pet's needs. We can not speak highly enough of the entire staff! 1.) Our one year old puppy got into some sort of toxin. We obviously did not know that was the issue initially, and when we called about our puppy not feeling well, their response was "How soon can you be here?" The relief that is felt as a dog parent when you are able to get in that quickly is something I cannot put into words. To have the vet available when you need them is so, so important! I wish that there was a 500 star option! Here is the deal… I have a chihuahua named Lars who is incredibly scared and skittish. He only lets me touch him. We have been putting off his shots and nail trimming because it seemed impossible and the few times we have tried with other places it failed miserably. Lars was in desperate need so we tried this place. It wasn’t pretty at first…he totally freaked when we passed him over. He peed, pooped, broke a nail off, and made some demon sounds. But Courtney and Dr. Murphy (hope I got his name right) were absolutely incredible. Their calm nature and expertise worked miracles. He didn’t make it easy, no doubt, but they all persevered.
