My mother was sent there for short term rehab after a fractured shoulder made it so she couldn't stay at her memory care wing for a few weeks. She has Lewey body dementia and can be very stubborn and was very confused the whole time she was there. That being said, the staff were great. Everyone I spoke with was professional and my mom healed quickly. If there is anything to criticize, it's the amount of staff not the quality of the staff. They are often doing their best but cannot keep up with the number of patients they have. They're a medical facility first and foremost, so they don't have the time or personnel to do enrichment activities with patients. In general, if there isn't a problem or a scheduled activity like PT or meals, the staff is not able to spend lots of time with patients

The neglect is almost criminal. Keeping up with the lies and non compliant care consumed my day. I had to hire someone to stay with my dad when I couldn’t be there. They claim to offer “comfort” measures at the end of life, but “comfort” is the last word I would use to describe their care. It’s all about the money that they can bill Medicare. In fact, Medicare was still being charged for specific services on specific dates after his discharge and sadly, after he passed away. When I called the service providers to dispute the charges, I was told, they were not notified of his discharge- disgraceful! Thankfully, I was able to move him to Hospice for his last days - it was like night and day. Filing a complaint through the state is a very long process. I will say, there was a very small handf

If I could zero stars I would. This place was horrible to my father. The extreme neglect caused him to he transported to a Yale via ems. He was non responsive, altered mental status for who knows how long. If my sister didn’t visit when she did we are sure he would not be here today. Please keep your loved ones away from this place. Our father still has not recovered to the point of when he arrived at this horrific place.

This place is absolutely horrible! My father in law was there for a short period and his condition deteriorated rapidly with no intervention from the staff! Ultimately he had to be taken by ambulance to the local hospital. I have never seen a healthcare facility that doesn’t provide healthcare!!!! This is not a place you should allow your loved ones to go to, it is not safe!!

Absolutely disgusting place , both the Rehab side and long term. My mom was not helped to the bathroom but left in a diaper. I insisted she had UTI. After 3 days I found out they kept trying to get a urine specimen through catherization. They had tried twice and had put my mom through hell. I told them no more. I got the specimen myself, they were too lazy to walk her to the bathroom. It was positive. When my mom was moved to the long-term side, which they did not inform me until they called me, the room was filthy. The bathroom not clean. From previous patients. Urine all over the floor and toilet. A mouse trap was left on the dresser, even after I complained it was still there. The call bell was outside my mom’s room, went off every time someone hit their bell. It never stopped ringing.
