this place is living hell. please do not send your family or loved ones here. i recently have had my grandma stay here. i came to visit today and almost cried when i walked in. the entire place smelt like poop and pee. when i came in to see my grandma, here room was dirty and uncleaned. when i got in she told me “i can’t wait untill i can leave this horrible place” then she mentioned that she needed water and was thirsty. I asked where her cup was and she handed me a small dixie cup. after talking with my grandma for a bit, she tried to switch the channel on the tv to watch something else and the tv and remote were both brocken. then me and my older cousins went downstairs to get some water and go to the bathroom. After a horrible experience at another local rehab I decided to bring my mother to Orchard Grove. The reviews were good and the staff was very friendly over the phone so my initial impression was very good. The facility seemed clean. However, there was no air conditioning in the main areas of OG in AUGUST! The ac remained broken for my mother's entire 18 day stay. Little did I know that the staff does not communicate well with doctors, nurses, therapists or family members. Getting the entire team on the same page was harder than pulling teeth. Even one of the CNAs told me that she would never bring her parents to Apple Rehab or especially Orchard Grove. The social worker, Sarah, was little to no use. They did not even effectively set up my mother's at Home Medical Equipment before she went

melissa who is one of the department heads at the wolcott hall in torrington ct is one of but the Rudest department head i have ever met especially we are family members of a patient she was very sarcastisc and rude in a meeting we had and should never be or for that matter working or to be allowed to work at any nursing home .STAY CLEAR OF THE WOLCOTT HALL IN TORRINGTON.CT NOT NICE PEOPLE
