Apotheco Pharmacy Manhattan

Apotheco Pharmacy Manhattan is good for dermatology prescriptions— they specialize in skin meds, so the pharmacists know their stuff and help get the lowest prices (branded or generic). Free delivery is convenient in the city, and they've coordinated with my derm office okay. It's 3 stars though because I've had delays on fills (waited extra days a couple times), and phone hold times can be long when calling for updates. Solid for specialized needs, but not the fastest—better than chains for derm, but patience required.

They said my medication was not covered by insurance which is fine, I made the purchase then they cancelled it without a reason. They told me that had a coupon flipped to make it cheaper but it was still 3x what a local pharmacy charges. I go to another pharmacy and they told me that there wasn’t a pre-authorization form filled out by my doctor so they couldn’t tell me if it was covered. Strange.

Honestly, this is the best pharmacy. Their customer service is amazing. When calling their store, I have never had to wait on hold longer than a couple minutes. They are super nice and understanding. I was able to get my medication delivered same-day at no extra charge. Definitely recommend! Thank you to all the workers at Apotheco for your great work!

Fast and friendly delivery. I liked that the delivery driver calls before he’s there to make sure you’re home. The employees at the pharmacy were very nice and helpful with any questions I had. The demeanor is very professional. The delivery driver rode his bicycle in the frigid cold, wind, and rain at night to bring me my prescriptions - I was very appreciative.

They were incredibly helpful! My original prescription was not covered by my insurance, so they called to let me know. My doctor had already been contacted and they gave me price options for 2 alternatives. Plus they deliver! A great experience start to finish.
