Other than the check in for surgery wait, everything else went smoothly. Nurses were great, doctors excellent. Prompt attention to call button.

What I encountered instead was an institution that exploited my vulnerability, ignored my rights, and prioritized financial gain over ethical care. Broke my hand after I tried to punish a solid wood door for my own stupidity. The doctor was very friendly and helpful. I was told 3 weeks prior that my hand wasn't broken but she believed me and looked at it again and determined it truly was. Thanks for actually listening to your patients rather than ignoring me and telling me what is or isn't wrong .

Sadly, I've been to a few local ERs recently for a loved one. If I ever need one, I want to go here. Had to wait, which didn't at other ERs, was worth it. Staff was concerned, not just doing the motions. Unlike other ERs, I heard the nurses' station talking about a terrible situation and what they should have done differently. They were so into their jobs that even in the downtime, they talked about other situations and how they could have done better. This I'd pure gold to me. People who are not only are good, but want to be better. Never felt ignored. Specialists and the ER doctors did things that I'd never seen at other ERs. Maybe they were meaningless, I would not know, but it sure gave me confidence in them. Discussed outcomes and rather than forcing anything that said "
