Animal Crossing Veterinary

We fairly recently moved to Elmendorf and needed to find a new vet and I am so glad we found Animal Crossing! Adorable name aside, everyone here has been incredibly kind and helpful and our cats have been treated very well! The pricing is also very fair!

I've brought my pet here before with and without appts n times feel as if they made me wait purposely. No communication as I waited in a room for more than 30 mins. This time it was heartbreaking as I had to lay him down to rest. The young lady was very nice but I had to ask her to explain the process. I've never done this before. Dr was patient and empathetic n made it a lil less difficult for me. thank you for caring for my Gilbert Thanks to the beautiful young ladies at the front desk.

We took our 12 yr old pug to be put to sleep. We got yo our 9am appt to get this done. The lady behind the counter was rude had no compassion at all. They did put us in a room fast, the vet tech came in to weight Leroy, it was hard to understand him. He man handled Leroy which was just laying there. About 30 minutes later he came back to take him to get his IV in, he brought him back had no compassion for what we were going through. The doctor came in about 45 minutes later, he was alright at least had compassion for what he was doing. He gave Leroy the meds to made him go to sleep. I asked him if the tech could carrying him out to our truck for us, he said yes that he would get him. He came in about 20 minutes later to put Leroy in a bag. We have taken all of our pets for over 15 years. Dr. Glover is wonderful! My sister even started taking her pups too because the cost is reasonable. They don’t take an arm and a leg for medical treatment of our furry loved ones. Yes the rates have gone up over the years, but not terribly so. We drive over an hour to get to this location. I rate 4 stars because since the new building has been up, the new staff they’ve hired are very rude and have zero courtesy or kindness. It’s definitely not the same as the old small building. We felt like family back then. There was lots of communication from the staff and updates. But now, it’s so different. Cleo got her first tightrope surgery in April 2024 w/ Dr Rode …. And then had her second knee done in October 2024 . I was referred by someone on Facebook and I am so grateful for the recommendation. Their prices are extremely reasonable . Even X-rays before surgery were half the cost of most Vet’s offices . I was always blown away by how busy they were … but they are just extremely efficient - and I never felt like we were being rushed . Cleo is finally back to zooming all around !! Thank you! 😊
