Dr Hurtado saw my elderly mother last week - Doctor's kindness, patience and dedication is remarkable, she has an extraordinary ability to connect with patients. It is rare to see a Doctor willing to spend as much time as needed to examine and convey a clear diagnosis and treatment.

I completely forget that I never wanted to return here after my last appointment here. The wait time for the appointment is ridiculously long, I’m talking you need to clear your entire schedule for the day because it is truly anyone’s guess when you will get called back. I think the last time I came I waited about 2 hours to be seen. I work in healthcare, I understand that we are human and things take time, however this practice has continuously gotten worse with their time management. Hospitality and warmth from the staff might make up for it, however that is also severely lacking. There will ALWAYS be an excuse with this clinic; whether its multiple eye emergencies or there only being one doctor scheduled, which is an entire separate issue. Dr. Hurtado is great... but make sure you don't make ANY plans the day you pay a visit for anything. The past couple of times I had to cancel important work meetings because I was there for 3 hours. Add to that the drive to go there and back, and you got a 4 hour endeavor for Dr. Hurtado to see you for 20 minutes, or at least this has been my case. It is outrageous. Last visit I schedule an appointment at 10:00am, was there at 9:25am, got in at around 10:15am, and at 11:30am I was still waiting for Dr. Hurtado with an eye anesthetized. To make it worse, for the full hour and and 15 minutes she walked by and saw me sitting there like an idiot, and didn't say a word. Nothing. Nada. I walked out. Respect people's time.

Dr.Hurtado is always very thorough in her examinations, takes her time and is friendly. Her staff is always pleasant as well. Dr.Hurtado answers questions in detail and is very experienced. Yes, the wait times sometimes may be a bit long but that’s not always the case. Highly recommend her practice.

2 Hours waiting for a eye test! really? Not thoughtful! No communication! I scheduled an appointment for 11.30 AM. Was there at 11.15. waited until 1 PM and still did not call. Eventually had to walk out. Apparently assistant had some problem and everyone is delayed. No one from office had any courtesy to inform us. There was TV going on all the time, temperature was uncomfortable (air conditioner seemed to not work) Generally they seemed to not care. Anyone who does not respect other people's time regardless of the problems they may face in a retail industry gets 0 stars but sadly I have to give 1
